About

Our Research Center

The Digital Humanities Engineering Center advances foundational
research at the intersection of computational methodologies and humanistic scholarship. We generate publicly accessible resources and analytical frameworks through large-scale, interdisciplinary projects that accelerate discovery across the global research community.

Multilingual

Locale strategy, idiom handling, reviewer loops, quality bars per market

What
we deliver

Voice Engines

Inputs (style guide, lexicon), tone/terminology controls, approvals

Dialogue & UX

Character sheets, multimodal notes, release-ready dialogue for apps, agents, games

Narrative Systems

Campaign/story frameworks, episodic content, variant generation with safety rails

QA & Safety

Bias/fairness checks, factuality passes, eval harness, human review signoff

Who we are

We’re a cross-disciplinary team of computational linguists, creative directors, and safety engineers who build language systems that stay on voice, respect context, and ship with governance. Every project pairs craft (style, narrative, multilingual nuance) with controls (evals, safety, auditability)

Alex Rivera

Head of Computational Linguistics

Owns voice systems, lexicons, and evaluation frameworks; leads linguist/reviewer workflow design.

Casey Morgan

Head of Creative Systems

Leads narrative and dialogue systems; defines story architecture, tone controls, and sample quality

Jordan Lee

Head of Safety & Delivery

Oversees safety, QA, and governance; runbooks for evals, risk reviews, and deployment readiness.

Methodology

We run a human+AI loop that starts with deep calibration (voice, terminology, guardrails), then prototypes quickly under supervision, and hardens with eval harnesses before scaling. Each build includes a retrieval/grounding strategy, policy-aligned prompts/orchestration, automated and human evals, red-team passes, bias/factuality checks, and audit trails.

We document decisions, measure quality and safety at every stage, and design handoffs so your teams can operate and evolve the system without losing control of voice or governance
